Of all the Costco’s in all the world, I walked into mine on Saturday and who’s sitting there signing books? None other than NBA legend Bill Russell. Got a chance to talk with him and everything and even at age 75, still had his great story-telling ability. Of course I had to buy one of the books, but it’s about the NBA back when I was growing up. You see, Bill was a Boston Celtic and what I remember most about them is that they would always beat the Lakers in the Championships. I mean ALWAYS.
As for Bill, he left the league with more championship rings than fingers: 11!
That’s pretty much dominating your sport, I think.
