Big news at the Hunter household: we’ve grabbed some tickets for next Tuesday’s “American Idols” concert at the Tacoma Dome.
We actually went last year and they put on a nice show….but THIS year’s crop of singers was by far the best one yet. Of course, both of us are all about Adam Lambert and we’re really looking forward to seeing what he’ll perform. My guess is that somewhere in the show, there’s going to be a Michael Jackson song or two.
Adam did “Black or White” on the Salute to Michael Jackson show, so we’ll see.
If you’ve never been to an Idols concert, they count ’em down…with the singers performing in the order they finished. Lots of big screen video and what’s kinda nice–a family-friendly environment. I don’t mind those every now and then. For a lot of kids, this is their first concert they’ve ever gone to in their life and they’re pumped.
So, Tacoma, here we come! I know it’s not until next Tuesday, but I can’t wait!
