Once again, I was tapped to host the annual “Heritage Festival” at the Leif Erickson Lodge in Ballard. Three hours that blur by and doesn’t require a whole lot of effort for me. Basically, it let’s me get the ’emceeing events’ thing out of my sister.
And, I get to dust off jokes. Once again, I announced that if you’d like to take part in a pickled herring taste-off, you could get five tastes of pickled herring for just $3. For $5, you’d only have to taste one.
Old joke, old show, but it always gets a laugh.
