It seems like it happened overnight.
I’m one of those people who can go either way—Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi. Whatever is on sale, I’ll get. Put ’em at 4 half-cases for $10 and I stock up.
But what happened? Now, all of a sudden, the typical price of a half-case of soda at QFC is $6.99! If I’m going to spend $6.99 for a half-case of something, it better be beer.
Did sugar go out the roof? Are they making it differently? It seems like ALL the manufacturers are saying, “OK, got ’em hooked! Now, let’s jack up the price!”
How OPEC can you get?
