Here’s one of those fine-print stories that would probably go unnoticed by most people, but I’m thrilled to see it happening. Cell phone manufacturers are going to standardize cell phone rechargers by the year 2012. They’ll all use the same type of plug. How in the world did it take this long?

Yes, and could they make the plug round? With no little bits that have to perfectly mesh or it won’t charge? I need a magnifying glass to get my phone and its plug together.
